The first step in creating Google Adsense account is to visit http://www.google.com/adsense and create your account. The Google AdSense account is like Google account similar to the one you use to login to YouTube, Gmail and others.
Add the account to your site
Before you are accepted into the program, Google has to look that your site meets the guidelines provided. You should add your AdSense code to your website to make it possible for Google crawler to access the content of your website.
Setup your payment details
The final step is to add your payment details so that you get payment at the end of every month once you reach one hundred dollars. Before you get payment, Google will verify your postal address by sending an envelope that has a confirmation code. Therefore, ensure that you provide correct information.
Ad placement
When you get verified, you are permitted to log in to your dashboard and create your new ad units. When developing an ad unit, you will choose the size, type, style and you will be provided with a code to put in your site. You are supposed to put th
e code where you want a certain ad to appear.
In any given page, you are given an opportunity to show up to three AdSense units.
